What is the last wash time?

The posted time for starting the last wash is 9PM- this typically allows enough time for our customers to finish washing, drying and folding their clothes by 10:00 PM.

Is Coinless Laundry really coin-less?

All the machines work with a laundry card- you don't need to bring quarters. You can use cash or credit/ debit cards.

How do I get a new laundry card?

You can get a new laundry card for $3 either using cash or credit/ debit cards. If you plan to use cash, please visit the VTM (Value Transfer Machine) at the back of the store. You will need $3 in exact change to get the card (please see the attendant if you need to have a larger bill changed). The card will have $0 balance when you first get the card- you can add money to the card as you need. Please see the attendant if you wish to use a credit or debit card instead of cash.

How do I add money to the card?

You can add money to your card using cash at the vtm (value transfer machine) at the back of the store. please see the attendant if you wish to use a credit or debit card - Again - just visit the machine at the back - one does cash only one does cash and cards.

Is my laundry card reusable/ re-loadable?

Yes, the card will hold any unused balance for future visits.

Can I return my laundry card?

Yes, if at any time you wish to return the card, the attendant will refund you the $3 deposit on the card. - We do not refund the balance - only the deposit of $3.00.

Why is a front load washer often a better choice?

Top load washers are smaller capacity and less efficient. Front washers provide a better wash and are gentler on your garments due to their tumbling action. They need less soap (for example a double load front load washer will need about 1 1/2 load's worth of soap). Front load washers are better value and more environment friendly.

Can I wash my pillows in a front load washer?

You can- but you need to aware of a few things. Pillows can sometimes be damaged during wash and may lose stuffing or lose it's shape. Please use your best judgment.

Can I wash down comforters?

Absolutely, in fact, many people bring their comforters to the laundromat due to our having larger capacity washers and dryers. please note all comforters require extra dry time and especially in down comforters you may need to air dry them at home to remove any remaining moisture to prevent mildew - comforters with down fillings take longer to dry- and you may need to air dry them at home to get the moisture out. please take care to dry them completely to prevent mildew.

How do I add time to the dryers?

You can add any amount of time to the dryer by placing your card on the reader of your machine and it will automatically add 15 minutes to the dry cycle. if you need to add more time simply place your card on the reader again. Pressing the start button until the desired time is reached while the laundry card is inserted in the dryer slot. each press of the start button will take $0.25 off from the card and add the equivalent time to the dryer. please remember to pull out the card after you are done adding time to the dryer.

Can I Wash Rugs With a Rubber Backing

Yes, as long as the backing is not cracked or peeling off you can wash the rug with no problems - however, you cannot dry any rubber-backed rug in our commercial dryers, please air dry these to prevent the rubber from cracking and peeling and damaging our dryers.
